The base of this EP was created over 3 nights while on a work trip.
My plan was to create a track per night on the Macbook (so I felt I wasn't wasting my evenings) and ended up with 4 of them.
The idea of expressing deep inner experiences while in such a mundane setting as a hotel seemed cool to me. The next step was to create complex soundscapes using only three or four instruments per track as my Macbook screen is small.
I was staying at the Meriton, so the idea became the Meritone Hotel.
